We really hate it when people abuse animals, and by sharing their stories, we hope we are able to somehow be their voice. We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again, you don’t need to love these animals. If you’re not an animal lover, we respect you. BUT please DO NOT hurt them, PLEASE respect them too. All species, regardless of what kind deserve a little love and respect. If you can’t help them, please don’t hurt them.
This is the story of Minkoy. A stray cat found in Panagdait Mandaue Cebu.
A few days ago, Cherrie Juntilla heard a loud meow coming from the side of the street in Panagdait, Mabolo. When she spotted this kitty, obviously in need of help, she began asking around to find out if someone owned her. Unfortunately, no one was familiar with this cat. Hence, Cherrie immediately reported the case to IRO (Island Rescue Organization). They immediately took action and brought “Minkoy” to Shambala Clinic.
According to IRO president Annalyn Aizpuru, Minkoy is suffering from 2nd degree burns and is given IV to prevent any further infection. Minkoy’s fur and several layers of his skin are badly damaged. He will need to stay in the clinic for about 2-3 weeks to fully recover.
