Rude Taxi Driver Yells at Riders
Netizen Hannah Quiwa shared this experience of hers on social media, when she rode a taxi with her 15-year-old sister and 10-year-old niece from their village to Robinsons Galleria. The taxi driver not only asked them to add 50 pesos to their metered fare, but was also reckless and sleazy throughout the ride. After getting down at Robinsons Galleria, the driver apparently aimed numerous offensive slurs at her, and even cursed at her.

Marikina Launches Trike for Senior Citizens and PWDs
Although, it should’ve been done a long time ago, the city of Marikina still thought of great respect to our senior citizens, especially persons with (dis)abilities. The local government of Marikina City rolled out a special trike for senior citizens and people with disability (PWDs) called Adaptive Mobile Vehicle (AMV).

Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach’s Prizes are Subject to Tax, says BIR
According to Manila Bulletin’s online report, BIR mentioned yesterday that the cash prize and other awards Pia received for winning the Miss Universe title are subject to income tax. In fact, top revenue officials reiterated that as a Filipino citizen, Pia’s earnings from within and outside the Philippines must be taxable and subject to the maximum rate of 32 percent.

Him and his character in the movie Harry Potter was loved dearly. People all over the world mourned, especially his co-actors in the entertainment industry. He will be missed. His kindness and love for the people are everlasting.
