Senator-elect Joel Villanueva is more than just TESDAMAN and “twin” to senator-elect Win Gatchalian. The former Director General of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is also an amazing basketball player.

Apparently, TESDAMAN was part of the UST Growling Tigers varsity basketball team that won the UAAP Season 56 and 57 of 1994-1995. He was also part of the Philippines national basketball team that competed in international basketball competitions in Taiwan and Malaysia in 1995.
TESDAMAN played competitive basketball again in 2014 for the Malacañang Patriots in the UNTV Cup.
