When in Manila Internship Application Poster

When in Manila has witnessed a number of milestones lately. We reached two million followers on Facebook. We launched new wings on Facebook: Style and Beauty, People, Tech, Pets, Food, Funny, Adventures, and more. We’re producing more videos and going live weekly. We also launched the When in Manila Meet the Team blog series in an effort to engage with the readers on a more personal level.

Now, we’re happy to announce another exciting move for us: we’re finally accepting interns!

We’ve gotten inquiries in the past from students who want to intern with us. Internships are promising opportunities for students to get hands-on learning experiences while still in school. It’s a great way for them to know more clearly what career track they’d want to take.

Personally, joining When in Manila is the one of the best decisions I’ve ever had as a college student. I was able to apply the things I learned in class to whatever work I was doing for When in Manila. In the same way, I was able to integrate lessons learned in When in Manila to classes I was taking in college. I wrote about the five ways joining When in Manila changed my life in this blog post, which I hope many students would be able to relate to.

This internship program was carefully designed to be flexible, fun, and very hands-on. It’s also very important to us that the tasks assigned to you match your skill set and your own personal passions and advocacies. This is why we’re asking you about these as early as the first phase of the application process.

Given our wide reach, your output would reach a wide audience. Even after you do your internship, the content you produce would remain uploaded and credited to you, which would therefore contribute to your own online portfolio.

You will receive firsthand training from the WhenInManila.com admins. You will also have an option to accomplish some of the work at home.
There will be two phases of the application:

Phase 1: Accomplishing this Google From
If you are part of the shortlisted candidates of Phase 1, we would email you to set a meeting and interview with you.
Phase 2: Interview (Date and venue to be announced)

After you pass the second phase, we’ll inform you within five working days.

If you have questions or concerns that were not addressed in this post and in the Google Form, feel free to contact Rebecca Lee at rebecca.wheninmanila@gmail.com.
