Here’s one moment at the Emmys that went untelevised: Caleb McLaughlin, Millie Bobby Brown, and Gaten Matarazzo, three of the kids in the hit TV show Stranger Things, opened the pre-show at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with a performance of Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’s “Uptown Funk.”

Omg, the #Emmys2016 pre show was the kids from Stranger Things singing “Uptown Funk” pic.twitter.com/15c2yaqFDj

It looked like an impromptu performance, but the kids looked like they had tons of fun onstage.
Of course, this is not the first time the kids sang. Brown once rapped on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and Matarazzo started in the Broadway productions of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Les Misérables. This is the first time we’ve seen McLaughlin perform but he sure does have a lot of funk.

Later on, they went around the audience in character handing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that Jimmy Kimmel’s mother made. According to Kimmel, she made 7,000!
