Stories of petty theft, snatched purses and even car break ins aren’t new. We’ve all heard of them, and many of us might have either experienced it ourselves or know someone who was victimized. It definitely sucks and we all wish that somehow karma would get to these wicked crooks. Unfortunately, as much as we wish they’d suddenly have a change of heart and return our valuables (or at least our IDs), it’s highly impossible and we have no choice but to accept our lost. However, this was NOT the case for Nicole M. who was lucky enough to have her purse returned.
According to Nicole, it was late afternoon on a Wednesday along Anonas. She had just left her bag and lunchbox (which also looked like a regular bag) in the car for a short bit as she went to buy some water in 7-eleven. She came back minutes later to find her window smashed and bags gone. She immediately called her bank to cancel all cards that were in that bag.
The following day, Nicole was surprised to receive a call from her building regarding her lost bag.
Nicole shares, “Around 2PM today, I found out my stolen bag was safe at Dr. Marisa Quintana’s Dental Clinic. She called Rockwell (my former building) leaving all her information, Rockwell called me, then I called her. She explained that construction workers found my bag along Marcos Hi-Way, assuming that it was thrown by an unsuccessful burglar.. they knocked on her clinic’s door and asked to find any close contact info from my IDs’ so that I may retrieve my things. When Rob and I got to her clinic, she told us that this is the second time burglars threw stolen items found by the construction area along Marcos Hi-Way. I also got to meet the good men who gathered all my scattered (due to being thrown) items earlier. May God abundantly bless you!!
I can only laugh at the pathetic thug that smashed my window and took my bag (which only contained my Chemistry notes and make-up.) Hahahaha. Went through all that trouble just to steal an innocent girl’s homework and lunch box!!!”
