I thought I was just dizzy due to my vertigo. But, little did I know, it was an actual earthquake!
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHILVOCS), the magnitude 5.4 earthquake originated in the East of Looc, Occidental Mindoro at around 9:50 pm.

However, the quake was also felt in Metro Manila, Southern Luzon, Pasig/Cainta area, Batangas City, Tagaytay City, Makati, Pasay, Pampanga, Cavite, Bulacan, and Pateros.
As stated in the Philvocs advisory, aftershocks are expected, as well.
So, the next time you feel the shakes again, please remember the points we’ve learned from the nationwide shake drill several months ago. As a basic rule, look for a sturdy table to get under and be alert for falling debris.
