We know that there are a lot of hotels to choose from, When In Manila. It all depends on our need of staying. May it be for leisure, staycation or for business, we really take the time to research on places online to know which hotel is the best to stay at depending on our needs.
Towering 30 storeys over the vibrant business and commercial centers of Legaspi Village in Makati City, Somerset Millennium Makati is a relaxing haven withing walking distance to a wealth of lifestyle options, including the luxurious Greenbelt malls where a variety of restaurants and entertainment venues are available.
They have 151 units: studio, one-to three-bedroom residences. I noticed that their interiors are styled to make you feel at ease and at home. I kept telling myself “I feel like I’m in a condo!” Below are photos of our 1 bedroom residence!
They even have a fully functioning kitchen complete with everything you need from microwave to gas range, ref, utensils, even different wine glasses perfect for our bottle of white wine for the night. With comprehensive kitchen amenities, separate dining areas and spacious living areas in most residences and wireless internet (WiFi), you can work, entertain and relax within the privacy of your own living space.
We had an in-room massage. BEST massage I’ve had in a long time. For you to have a good massage you need to communicate well and for you to be able to communicate well with your masseuse they need to be very friendly. I’m glad that our masseuses were really friendly and were happy to serve us! I’m going back to Somerset for the massage.
Best part was, it was literally a few minutes walk away from the Central Business District of Makati. I observed that there were a lot of tourists who were staying here which was a really good idea. When I travel I really make sure that my destinations are near the vicinity of my hotel. It makes travel easier and more convenient and it’s difficult to commute in a foreign land thus, their choice of Somerset Millennium which is a few blocks away from tourist spots is a good one.
A part from the gorgeous lap pool and jacuzzi, they also have a fitness center, a guest lounge (if you have friends over you can play some cards or chess, they have a big room for this!)
They also have a restaurant at the mezzanine floor called Opa! They serve Greek food. We recommend their triple mushroom soup and creme brulee.
At the ground floor they also have a barber shop called “John Barbers.” A really good one as well. Everything was high tech. From their grooming kits to their mirror which had LCD TVs on it, to their chairs and even their tissue! I am really impressed with this barber shop. I’ve never had service done in one and I was really happy I got to try it out. Their groomers did a very slick job. If you want a cut, especially the trendy guy cuts nowadays, you won’t regret John Barbers. If you’re a woman like me, make sure to schedule first as sometimes they do not have groomers to serve your every need (mani-pedi etc)
So When In Manila, recommend Somerset Millennium Makati to your friends who are here to experience Manila. You should experience it yourself for a relaxing hassle-free staycation.
